Our Staff

The Farrar Home has been setting adult home standards since 1900.  This is largely due to a hard working and dedicated staff.  There has been many changes over this time in all aspects of the business.  New regulations that require a more experienced staff is not  the least of these changes.  We have always been fortunate enough to be able to rise to the occasion.  Our staff has been exemplary and worked as necessary to comply with New York State Department of Health regulations, along with providing outstanding service to our residents.

The Farrar Home is made up of approximately 25 full-time and part-time employees.

The Administrator is Kristie Sherry- Keating RN. Kristie joined the Farrar Home staff in 2008. Before becoming the Administrator in 2016, Kristie was the Assistant Administrator of the home for 8 years. Her love for geriatrics and expert management skills make her perfect for the job.  In the past, Kristie has worked for Hospice of the North Country.  Hospice work has given Kristie even further incite to the needs of the elderly.  Kristie enjoys caring for the residents, overseeing their needs and working with the Farrar Home team to make the home a secure and comfortable environment for the elderly population in Malone and the surrounding areas.

Diane

 

The Administrative Assistant is Dianne LaMondie LPN. Dianne joined the Farrar Home staff in 2013. She enjoys working with the geriatric population. She has excellent skills in the medication room and office that are useful in her job. In the past, Dianne has worked at the Alice Hyde Nursing Home and Franklin County Nursing Home. Dianne is attentive of the needs of the residents and overseeing their care. Dianne enjoys being a part of the Farrar Home Staff and taking care of our special residents.
